Two cold-weather shelters will open on Thursday and Friday evenings, providing refuge for people experiencing homelessness. Doors will open at 6 p.m. to offer overnight shelter Thursday and Friday.

After a rainy weekend, cold temperatures are sweeping across Central Florida — with the frigid air here to stay.
