Missouri American Water has scrapped its timetable for completing repairs on a busted water main in north St. Louis County.
The precautionary boil water advisory in north St. Louis County has been lifted after a 30-inch water main rupture caused a temporary drop in water system pressure, affecting 23,000 residents.

The advisory is in effect for approximately 48 hours and includes parts of Ferguson, Florissant, Hazelwood, Normandy, Kinloch and Berkeley.
