You can now use a feature that's very similar to Android's "circle-to-search" on iPhone. While it's not exactly called that, both the Chrome app and the Google app will now allow you to circle text or images to search whatever's in your selection using Google Lens.

Google is rolling out a new Circle to Search-like feature for iPhone users that lets them highlight anything on their screen to quickly search for it. But it's still very limited. Google introduced Circle to Search on select premium Android smartphones in early 2024.
