We’re a premier coarse fishery situated on the edge of Ellesmere Port and Chester. Set in 13 acres of beautiful surroundings our first lake is open, and is extensively stocked with Mirror and Common Carp, F1’s, Ide, Barbel, Bream and Perch) with fish sizes ranging from 1-13lbs.

This is a secure, patrolled site with CCTV. The gates are locked every day, strictly at the above mentioned closing times. There is no access to the fishery between closing and opening times except in an emergency.

Fishing Rules To fish here, you must: Use landing net, landing mat, disgorger (one pp) Use hooks sizes between 12-18 (no bigger than size 12) You must have a valid fishing license; Dip all nets and landing mats; Do NOT use meat or floating bait (incl. bread) Do NOT use barbed hooks, braided line, fixed rigs or elasticated method feeders

Our first lake is U-shaped with 27 pegs, each 12 meters apart. They have been purpose built to provide excellent space and allow uniform fishing from each peg. Lake 1 is around 120 yards from the car park, along a straight, flat pathway. Our match lakes are 1.8m (6ft) deep and 12m wide. The margins are 1m wide and 0.6m (2ft) deep.

Just a 5-minute drive from Cheshire Oaks. If you’re travelling from the direction of Cheshire Oaks and the Strawberry Roundabout (with the BP garage on it) take the first turning on the left-hand-side after the houses. The Fisheries is signposted. By bus: Numbers (1), (X1) and (2) buses all stop within a 4-6 minute walk from the Fishery*

Fishery feed pellets only, available from our Tackle Shop. No meat or surface fishing. No balling in of any bait. Maximum of 2 kg of groundbait. No throwing unused bait in after the match. Equipment Regulations: Maximum hook size: 10. No braided line or elasticated feeders. All feeders must be free-running.
