Jan 29, 2025 · Michael Ezra’s article (Solidarity 731) says correctly, that Vanessa Redgrave and the WRP did not in the 1980s sue Socialist Organiser, forerunner of Solidarity, for libel over our charges that they were taking money from Libya and Iraq. (The WRP, formerly SLL, was in the 1960s and early 1970s the most active group of the British far left. It degenerated and then collapsed in 1985.

A workers’ government would wield immense resources to tackle what Sam recognises is “the main answer on greenhouse gas emissions: … cutting fossil-fuel burning and changing land use.”

Behind the Assisted Dying Bill | Workers' Liberty
Nov 27, 2024 · The issue of “assisted dying”, to be voted on in Parliament on 29 November, is complex and emotive. Most Disabled organisations oppose assisted dying, currently at least. Most organisations of palliative and geriatric care workers do too. Polls suggest that most disabled individuals support some provision of assisted dying; but also that most are concerned about undue pressure.
